RemoteDataBackup Version 8.4 is re-engineered to significantly improve the speed and performance of file transfers (reads Master File Tables directly).

Interface operations are also noticeably faster. We’ve updated to a high performance agent database, detect when the system is in use, and change thread priorities and I/0 disk management to fine-tune performance.

We also updated our Data Center Diagnostics tool to improve troubleshooting, and provide more informative agent error messages.
